Hole 9 – “Cape”

This is the Cape template — in this case, a stout dogleg-right par-4 that again tempts you to bite off more than you can chew. As with the Road hole, the safer drive to the left leaves a problematic approach to a green that angles considerably uphill from short right to back left (protected by a deep bunker at left greenside), while the riskier drive to the right opens up the green for an aggressive approach. Two putts here are always acceptable.
